It doesent sound like you spent to much to me. I have an (a) that I will have over 3,000 in. My father in law bought a 38" riding mower from walmart for over 1,000 dollars that beast lasted a whole 2 years beffore he spent another 1,000 for another riding mower, that H 10 times the tractor and will still be running good in another 30 years.
