I read your thoughts on paying for the schools. I am interested in knowing if your really feel this way. If you and others think this way our country would not be what it is today, just think. I do not use the interstate highways in many of the 48 states, therefore do not use my motor fuel money for them. Most of the old tractors now are out of the North or the Western States. Many of these states do not have enough money to build roads without the rest of us helping to pay for them. No roads no tractors. I do not know if you farm I do not anymore. I pay taxes so farmers can collect their payments from the goverment. Our great grandparents worked thier a--es of so we could have a good life. Are we to self centerd and lazy to maintain what they toiled for? I am not a bleeding heart liberal by any means. I think all should work and we should only help those that are truely in need by no fault of their own. However certain sectors of our society require that we all share in. Schools are just one of them. My dad now 84 years pays $25000 per year to local taxing bodies when he complains I tell him " sell the land and let someone else gladly pay the tax". Thanks for letting me sound off.

How can I explain the sensation and exhilaration I feel when I turn the key and hear the engine come to life (most
