The Farmall 706 was tested twice at Nebraska. Early tests: Test #856 diesel dbhp 67.64, ptohp 72.42. Test #858 gas dbhp 66.51, ptohp 73.82. Test #860 LPG dbhp 67.18, ptohp 73.66. Late tests: Test #955 diesel dbhp 69.03, ptohp 76.09. Test #956 LPG dbhp 68.41, ptohp 76.30. Test #957 gas dbhp 67.87, ptohp 76.56. The Farmall 806 was only tested once. Test #857 diesel dbhp 86.66, ptohp 94.93. Test #859 gas dbhp 81.04, ptohp 93.27. Test #861 LPG dbhp 84.37, ptohp 93.42. I believe I remember the early literature which was published before the tractors were tested at Nebraska and it listed estimated ENGINE hp, not pto or db hp. In actual use lots of tractors produced more power than the Nebraska test results through tuning or modifications. Harold H
