Peameal bacon is a bacon side that is cured and then the slab of bacon is rolled in ground up dried pea flour. The product looks more like thick ham slices than what we traditionally think bacon is. It has a mild flavour and if you like pork you will like peameal bacon. Mike in Exeter Ontario
