H loader light color

I have a loader like this one on my H. The old IH decals read something like: 33??A. Anyone know what the model number really is, or know where to point me for more info? (btw - I've already contacted the gentleman who owns this H, and his decals are about as readable as mine - but he does have this H for sale under photo ads here.)

2nd question: From memory, all the lights, gas cap, radiator cap, etc. on my Grand Dad's H in the mid 1950's were red. Why do I see some H's with these parts painted black now? Did replacements come from IH in black, but shipped from the factory on the tractor in red?
