Rhouston, The shield above the carburator is a heat box or shield which is correct for this tractor, except for color, because the tractor is a distillate tractor. Just looking at the pictures there are many incorrect items, mostly cosmetic, a few as follows; W-4 rather than I-4 decals, white pinstripes on grill and hood, silver magneto, silver oil filter, carb heat box painted silver, silver carb breather pipe, black aftermarket breather cap, black aftermarket main gas cap, silver starting gas tank cap, silver starter, homemade drawbar, white throttle knob, white gearshift knob, white face aftermarket gauges, no battery box, black oil filler cap, homemade mag switch box. All of these would be very easy to correct for very little money. Looks like a real nice, solid, straight tractor. Although I believe it is a I-4, it could be a W-4 that has had the foot accellerator added and the rear wheels changed, only the serial number will tell for sure. Harold H
