Posted a week ago about blowing out the o-rings in my hydraulic pump and having my water pump start spewing water around the pulley on the same day. Well I'm please to report all is back to normal. The new pump is much quiter than the old one.Put the pump on before I noticed the hole for the drain pipe had a plug in it and I didn't have the proper tool to take it out. Had to take it back off and grind an allen wrench down to fit the square hole and heat it to get it out. I then plugged the proper hole and put it all back together.I did it without taking off the radiator and sheet metal which led to some scuffed knuckels and bad thoughts. Drove it about 6 miles in road gear pulling some big hills and never did get it hot enough to make the radiator cap warm to the touch. It has a new thermostat I thought it would have warmed up more than that. The temp gauge never moved, but then it never moved much in the heat of summer. Oh well it's up and running agian. PS The water pump was $89 so that may be what Santa's bringing me this year.Ho ho ho!
