Red 10-20????

Looked at a 1929 10-20 Mc Cormick Deering yesterday that the guy has had for about 50 years.
He had painted it all red. I asked him why he painted it that color and his reply was, "when I was working on the tractor and disassembling it, all I found was traces of red paint, so I decided to paint it the color it was originally."
I am convinced that he was telling the truth.

Has anyone out there ever heard of a red 10-20.
