People didn't have to hurry back then for several reasons; 1. Our cars, trucks, tractors, etc. were quite simple back in the 1950s. Then society wanted these vehicles built so safe that even an idiot could drive one and never really get hurt. Has it worked, I'm not sure. 2. We now have socialized agriculture across much of North America and Europe. So your helping to pay for that $150,000. tractor down the road even though you are farming with a Farmall H 3. We all have a host of politicians, mainly lawyers, accountants, engineers, etc. passing new laws and new legislation, for the good of their own professions, rather than for the good of the people. My friends we are all paying for this, and paying through the nose. I have only touched the tip of the iceburg. Its time some of you young guys took the bull by the horns and got involved in running the system.
