The 40's - 50's letter series farmalls with a 6 volt ground positive system should be wired basically the same. The ignition switch should have 2 wires. One Ign switch to coil Two Ign switch to "L" terminal on the voltage regulator. From the ammeter neg one wire goes to the starter From the ammeter pos one wire goes to the "BAT" on the voltage regulator. One wire from "GEN" on the voltage reg to the "A" terminal on the generator. From the "F" terminal on the generator to the "F" terminal on the voltage regulator. Positive side of the coil to the side of the distributor. Negative side of the coil to Ignition switch. Connect all wires with the pos battery cable (this is your ground) OFF. When completed connect the ground cable but dont try and start it until you polarize your generator. Do this by touching a short piece of wire to the "A" on the generator and to the "BAT" on the voltage regulator. Hope this helps.
