I use a 3 point mounted 8 ft Rhino shredder (weighs 1600 lb) on my SMTA. I put four 100lb weights on the front of the tractor. The tractor also has a wide front. It handles the weight of the shredder ok, but could use a little more weight up front. Also, I have moved 5X6' round bales with a rear mounted 3 point bale spear. It really needs the front weights for this job. I have to rev up the engine for enough hydrolic power to lift both the shredder and big round hay bales.
