seems to me a recurring theme here involves questions about the proper oils to use. I've even asked myself before. Maybe the bigger one for IH is the HyTran compatibility one. are there good sources that actually show how various classifications of hydraulic oil compare to the B-6 spec? for example: universal fluid is supposed to meet B-6, but how close of a match is it really? Also, what do the different grades of hyd oil in a fleet store mean: AW 32, aw 64, etc. ?? maybe there could be a page added to this site that would cross reference the various available product grades to the manufacturers' specs? Saving money is important when quality is not compromised--a detailed info page could help make educated purchasing decisions (even generic hytran is pricey). Running the same hyd. oil in a multi-colored fleet of tractors and equipment would be ideal economically and practically in my mind. -karl
