My WD-9 came from my wife's side of the family in Western MN where it pulled a five-bottom plow (I don't know what size). It had four rear wheel weights on each side. My wife's grandpa talks in loving terms of the 9. He said he loved the sound. But he does point out it was a cumbersome tractor with limited turning radius and arm-breaking steering if you weren't watching and hanging on tight. So stories about loaders on these tractors are very interesting to me. I must ask, when a loader was added one must have also added power steering? It has been very fun reading all the other comments in earlier posts about the size and power of the 9's. An H almost seems like a garden tractor after driving a 9. Thanks for asking for more stories. I hope there are more than I have to offer.
