Char-Lynne made a PTO driven hydraulic unit that was common on all sorts of tractors. this is a all in one resovoir, pump and control vales. I have one and it works fine, however it is a pain in the sence that you have to have the PTO running in order for it to work. This mean you have to take the tractor out of gear and release the clutch if you want to use the hydraulics while standing still. A much better way is to somehow drive off the belt, or a shaft attached to the crank pulley "in-line". My 2 cents.
