My Grandad Bought his H new in the fall of 1949. He traded the F-14 on it. Dad got the H with the farm from Grandad in the fall of 1972. I used to ride on the drawbar and help make hay with them from the time I was 9. I got the H from Dad before he sold the farm and passed away. Now am working on getting the H running again, it needs much work, but this project is a work of love! Don

Memories of an IH Super A When I was ? up to 10, I worked on my Papaw's farm in Greeneville, TN every summer. As I grew older (7), it was the thrill of my day to ride or drive on the tractor. My Papaw had a 1954 IH Super A that he bought to replace a Cub. My Papaw raised "baccer" (tobacco) and corn with the Super A, but the fondest memory was of the sawmill.
