When I was installing a belly mower last week on my Dad's C I noticed that the right rear axle was longer than the left rear axle. My Grnadpa is no longer with us to explain any reason. I know that there were two axle lengths available, but why in combination? He farmed near Sealy, Texas west of Houston and mainly farmed corn, cotton and maize. I do know that the corn picker was on another C and the cotton picker was on the H. He also did general chores dealing with some cattle. Do any of y'all know if these crops would require this. My Dad and I are just curious, as it makes no real difference. Thanks for all of your speculations. -- Martin
