popcornsteve, 80 acres, an H, 1955. I like that story - mine is about the same. That was about the year I first made myself useful with the H by driving it out to bring the Holsteins back to the barn for milking - thought I was really important as I didn't have to walk out with the dog to do the same job. It also had a loader and a mounted picker that went on and off with the seasons - a block and tackle in the barn to lift that picker and loader. So besides being the first thing I ever drove, it was the first thing I ever turned wrenches on. That H was sold sometime in the late 60's. I have no idea what happened to it, but I do have an H a lot like it now. It just makes me smile every time I get up on the H. No milk cows or mounted picker anymore, but the good memories all come flowing back nonetheless. Steve
