Gene, the radiator surely was a lucky find. I found it at a local tractor salvage yard. It was leaning against a pine tree with about 15 other ones. No cap on it either. Up here in NE Wisconsin thats probably not a good thing!Anyway, after looking closer I see it has the 2 mounting studs along with a tag wired to them and they are wedged between the radiators metal housing and the upper tank. The radiator didn`t have 1 bent fin and the old black paint was still on it. Turns out the old fella that owns the yard got it at an auction of an old dealer and set it out with all the old used ones.One more winter sitting under that tree and it probably would be junk. About the cultivision decal, I know that when I asked Guy Fay about it ,he said that up until (don`t quote me on this) approx. Sep. or Oct. of 1939 that they had no cultivision on them. Just a large circle with an A inside.He can give you a better idea,just post the question for him here on this board.I just remembered one other difference on 39`s.The PTO housing on a 39 doesn`t have the 2 holes at the top for the PTO guard to mount to-in fact it`s not even a flat surface, it`s a half circle.
