Your problem is the moisture in the oil is pluging the filter and the screen with ice cristels and shuting off the oil flow , change the oil and filter and go with the John Deere hdy oil for winter as it is a thinner weight oil then the Hy tran, the aftermarket hdyoil is somewhere inbetween the two in weights there is and aftermarket kit that you can add where you stack two filters on top of each other and this also helps with the oil flow. Or you can add a heater to the system to warm the oil this also helps in real cold area's . Or keep the tractor in a warm shop as if ya need a tractor everyday for chores this is the best way as it is always warm and ready to go.
