Here is the whole story. A month ago my H wouldnt start, Gas normally leaked out of the bottom of the carb then would fire right up. (I have a 1/4" valve in the gas line to shut it off) Then 2 weeks later went to start it up again and gas did not leak out of the carb and I figured that there was a blockage, bought a rebuilt carb from a tractor part supplier, hooked it up and still does not start. I have good gas flow to the carb though. If I spray starting fluid in the air inlet it will fire about 4-5 times then nothing. I get an amperage draw when I turn on the switch. Gas is only 6-8 weeks old. Battery is strong, along w/starter. Ignition dist. is only 9 months old and doubt it is bad. Anybody have any other ideas on why this thing wont start. Need advice. thanks.
