I'M having trouble splitting my 3414. It comes apart about 3/4 " and stops. It has the single speed constant running pto and appears that the pto drive gear is frozen to the shaft. there aren't any snap rings etc, because the shaft goes through the gear into a blind hole, in the front of the trans. case. No locks are shown in the parts blow up either. I tried prying it apart and whacking it but can't get a good shot at it because of a collar on the shaft. I'm presently soaking it with JB Blaster, because heating it just doesn't seem like a good idea, except as a last resort. Has anyone had and solved this problem?? Any good ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Don H
