Ardie,as the gentleman was trying to explain (BEFORE) taking his Ritalin pill is that these machines are not like trying to tune a 68'Z28 or a 70' Superbird 426 Hemi. Just use have someone turn the crank till the lowest point of the dist cam is lined up with the points and simply gap it with a fealer gauge to .0020" These machines are way to robust to ever need a precise Dwell meter check. good luck and Merry Christmas
