You got a VERY good price on the Cub. Last spring I paid $400 for a '60 International Cub Lowboy. It came with a rototiller, one point fast hitch, one bad rear tire, a broken right tie rod held together with a small hose clamp, one light ripped off and hanging, no grill, no operation for 12 years, and a very poor home made trailer. Three weeks later all was stolen, found by the sheriff and hauled to the impound yard, which cost me another $215 to retrieve it. To answer your question about Cub vs Lowboy: Farmall Cub made '47-'64. International Cub made '64-'77. Cub Lowboy '55-'68. International Cub 154 Lowboy '68-'74. International(?)184 '77 only. International Cub 185 Lowboy '74-'75. They changed over the years, so I don't know with out side by side comparison for the year. Mine weighs more and seems to be slightly longer than the Cub, and it just looks very low. Happy Holidays.
