I have suspected for a while that the head on my Super A is cracked. On Saturday I noticed that the radiator was low and so I filled the radiator up after I let things cool for a bit. Then I restarted and there was a fair amount of steam coming form the exhaust. Now I know it is normal for the condensation to come out for a few minutes and that there will be water boiling off when running it. I am sure that I remember reading on this forum that the Super A was prone to this problem. I have not done a compression check on the tractor yet. I would assume that is the best way to determine if the head is cracked? If the head is cracked, what have each of you found to be the best solution to fix it and what is the beast solution to prevent this from happening in the future? Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.
