I interseeded my CRP with a 1940 H, a drawbar pto driven box seeder, a 10 foot single gang disk and a two section harrow behind it. I double passed one field and single passed another field. Both took well. I was interseeding clover and timothy. The double passed field did slightly better. Pulled this combination in 10 year old CRP ground in 3rd or 4th gear depending whether I was going up hill or down. Our soils are predominately Fayette soils which are a timber soil with clay under layer. They pull pretty heavy. I think the soil type and terrain will make the difference as to what you can pull. I enjoyed working my H. Hope this helps.
