Tenn Terry, I have freeze problems with my water system in the barn when it gets down around -10 and my solution is a light bulb. I hang a light bulb beside the water shut off valve and there is enough heat from that bulb to keep the system from freezing. I'm not sure what you are soaking your parts in but most distillates like varsol don't freeze easily so if the solution isn't flammable a light and a cover of some kind will likely keep Jack Frost away.
