I knew I would have forgotten something tim, you are correct. I learned most of this when those differential gears went in my 560 in about 1975. I really never had a whole lot of faith in this system, afterall it was the pioneer of lower link draft controll sencing. I used a 4x16 trailer plow. By the time to valve screwed up I was only using my fast hitch to pick up a fast hitch ballast I had made for loader work. I did not embrace mounted equipment until draft controll was perfected in 06, 56 and 66 series tractors. I used semi-mount plow, cultivator, etc. on 656 and 1066. Those systems did work and work well. I will very much agree with some of the other respondants to this subject. I understood what it was suposed to do, however I don't think system worked very well in field.
