I have a 400D with a 2 point 2 way rollover 2 bottom 16 inch plow. The 300/400 series tractors did not have any draft control period. The plow manuel I have indicated that you can control the depth in one of two ways. Either with a single depth control wheel 15 or 16 inch that locks into position every time your roll the plow. The other way is with the horazontal cylinder on the right side just forward of the brake housing. My plow has a wheel that runs in the furrow just behind the plow mold board. when you operate the foward cylinder you changing the angle of the plow points and using the rear wheel to control the depth. My preference was using the large single wheel that ran on the land about 6 inches from the edge of the furrow. It was easy to adjust the depth and I could use my hydratouch in the float position. We plowed thousands of acres with this system on our 400D and 450 gas. You could plow so smooth that you could hardly see the forrow lines of the plowed ground.
