From experience! I bought my '46 H in 2001 and it the exact situation you have....a lower front bolster from an M. The four holes were reamed out as Will indicated had to be done. I restored back to original with an H lower bolster and rims. The problem with having an M lower bolster is that it will put additional weight on the bearing and bushings of the upper bolster causing them to wear out. You will probably have to replace all the bushings and bearings on the upper bolster, as I did. Found lower bolster at a local tractor salvage yard in Taylor, TX and I know they have a few more - if you would info send me an email. There are a few component parts that can be shared between the H & M, however, the most of the body and engine is heavier for the M. It can be done, good luck with your project.
