Jon: Daylight has arrived here in SW Ontario, went to my shed, 3 tractors, 3 different measurments. Super A 8", 130 9" and 140 9.5". You would think that 130 and 140 having hood 2" higher than A or SA would be 2" longer. There must be some differences in manifolds. One item I found constant on all three was exhaust pipe is 3" to 3.5" above level of hood. In my measurments I figured on 3/4" threaded in manifold. I would say my manifolds are original, exhaust pipe on 140 has been changed. Exhaust pipes on SA and 130 I would say are original, I know 130 is and SA almost certain. I hope this is some help. I can see a lot of possible answers on this one.
