I bought this tractor used and put about 10 hours per year on it. I have been posting about the TA not working for the past few days and most think my trouble is in the MCV as it will not work in direct drive but works in the rear position -lever pulled back. As many have suggested I pulled the filter out and drained the oil--the metal screen was blown off the BYPASS VALVE filter had plugged then the metal lbypass filter plugged next the screen came off. I probably have all kinds of dirt in the MCV and where ever it can collect. Is there a screen on the MCV that I could check out??? Thanks for all of the help I have been receiving. I should have checked this out the day I bought the tractor not a few years later. len
