Delco Starter Model 1109108

I have a Delco Model 1109108 Starter, which I understood was for a TD-9 crawler. It appears that this may not be accurate. I am wondering if anyone has knowledge of what this starter may fit. It has a base paint of IH Red in color, but has been painted over with yellow. It does not have the positive lever action bendix engagement, but is the type which utilizes the spinning of the armature shaft to shove the bendix into the flywheel gears. It is 12 V.
The extension casting which bolts to the bell housing by three bolts has a casting number 881584. Any information is appreciated.
