I see someone is suggesting on checking for water. You just had that system drained about a month ago, so that is not apt to be problem. In another responce you mentioned hydraulic oil other than hy-tran. What was the other oil? That one could be culpert. On the left side of touch controll unit, take screen assembly unit out and clean. You did say noise changed but did it lessen during hydraulic function? If function takes noise away, one would think presure relief valve. That is one I have never had trouble with, don't even know how to get at it. My thinking is that hydraulic function will cut the flow through presure relief valve, thus lessening noise or taking it away.
