sorry the bullet only falls. the appearance of the bullet to rise and then fall comes from the fact that the sights are higher than the barrel so the rifle is actually pointing up slightly.say you sight yourhigh power rifle in at 200yds the bullet travles on a slight rainbow trajectory where it will hit dead on at 25 yards(when it crosses your line of sight going up) it will be 1 or 2 inches high at 100yds then somewhere in there it will start to fall back so that it hits dead on at 200yds (when it crosses your line of sight goiing back down) then maybe 4in low a 300 yards ect.If the barrel was perpectly level so the rifle hit dead on a the muzzle then it would be 1in low a 100yds 3in low at 200yds and 7in low at 300yds ect.
