Farmall 140 Will Not Crank

Tractor cranked fine, used the tracter for an hour or so, it then ran out of gas. Filled the tank up with gas and now tractor will not crank. I tried cleaning the sediment bowl and noticed that when I put it back, the gas dripped VERY slow into the bowl, but finally filled up. The motor turns, but will not crank. I can normally touch the two terminals at the switch mounted above the distributer normally will get a spark. I am not getting a spark. I suspect my problem is possible electrical, but not sure. Any advice would be appreciated, since I don't have a very good understanding of the electrical system.
