WD-9 vs. 600 diesel

We finally got the precombustion cups pulled out of the cylinder head on the IH 600 diesel. All of the cups have cracks in them around the hole that leads into the cylinder. I have 4 cups that are in good shape from a WD-9. Will the cups from the WD-9 work in the 600? They have the same outside diameter and the injectors from the 600 will fit in the cups from the WD-9. There is a little difference on the inside as well as having different part numbers. Any help is appreciated.
