8 degrees BTDC. You have to open up the cover on the right side of the bell housing. Line 8 degrees BTDC to the pointer under the cover. Take the little cover off the side of your injection pump.You will probably have to loosen up the two 3/8's nut and turn the pump until the two little lines inside of that window match together. A 1206 will have only a Roosamaster (now Stanadyne) pump on it unless,someone put an RD pump on after the factory.
