I've got three two year old bulls (going to the butcher next week). I have to keep both eyes on them all the time. They've been around since they were born. About once a week I've gotta pop one of them in the nose just to keep them honest. So far a good hard kick in the snout has kept them in line.

One thing I've learned is that if a bull is grows up with people instead of other cattle he's more likely to try and work out his "social issues" and herd dominance problems with people. They need to have other bulls around to wrestle with so they see you as the provider of food, not a herd rival. Same for cows.
