If you want to be safe, go to a catepillar dealer and get there solution they sell for this problem. It will not take out your bottom end if you have any leakage through the system. I am unable to remember the name of the product, but have used in in a crawler we were concerned about head leaking. Worked good there. It replaces antifreeze. GOOD LUCK
