The difference is International started out as also being Utility in smaller tractors, Wheatland in larger ones, in the case of 460/560/660, as a example, then when 06/25/56 series came along it meant a row crop version, front & rear tire/wheel
was variable width, International was almost always not. Its complicated to explain in detail, as another example our dealer sold a I656D Row Crop, Hydrostatic drive. Farmall was a row crop tractor usually. 786/1586 was a International Farmall. I suspect patent & copyrights were expiring on some of these names.
