Thanks Diesel Don, it is nice to hear encouragement once in a while. I try my best with my tractors - still make a few mistakes, but nothing major. I think the shaft with the U-joint would be relatively easy. I need to make 1 hanger for a bearing and have the machine shop make me some couplers. Maybe they even have a U-joint that would work. I'm really looking at the direct drive so I can run a loader with the pump also. I've looked into the PolyChain belts and they are really impressive, but the price is impressive as well! I might still just go with the belt and use a PTO pump for the loader later on, just looking into options that would solve all the problems right away. Again, thanks for your comments!
