I agree. Wheatlands also didn't have 3 pt. hitch and had a drawbar with a wider swing range which ran on a roller. Typically, from the 30's to the 50's, a manufacturer's largest model was available exclusively as a wheatland. Also they had low, rear entry platforms below and to the rear of the axel and could be driven standing up, especially with a hand clutch. The last example I can think of is the mid 60's Molines. High horsepower row crop tractors brought this to an end as the same basic tractor could be built with any combination of options such as standard tread with 3 pt. and no pto, for example. The J-D 4010,4020,5010, and 5020 were available with rear entry, but had a high platform to make room for 3 pt. whether installed or not. In the late 60's and early 70's IH,AC,and Case began putting the fuel tank behind the seat. The mid 70's saw the wide-spread use of factory installed cabs with entry exclusively from the front of the tractor. (Never mind the campaign photo of Jimmy Carter standing on the draw bar of his JI Case with cab and rear mount fuel tank and a caption stating he was getting on his tractor. That was the journalists fault.)
