NEED HELP

I have a swartz wfe on my 52 H. Every since I bought the tractor the front has been set narrower than the back. I need to move each front wheel out about five inchs. This would help me with loading and cultavating. My question is on the stearing link from the bolster to the knuckle does this slide or is it threaded. I have all of the bolts out and the large tube will slide but not sure about the tie rod. HELP.
