No I'm not ofended by the warning I have flushed it out with hot soapy water I just last night put in a gallon of muratic acid to try to remove some rust I didn't think it looked like it was going to work but when I looked this morning it was shiny clean where the acid sat all night so i think I will plug the lid and open the hole in the bottem and tip it upside down for a day
