M transmission troubles

I have a 49 M and the main shaft pilot bearing is out of it. I have one ordered so I havent seen one. I fished out the larger rollers that go in it but also found a few smaller needle bearing rollers that are about 1/16" dia. and 1/2" long. Are they part of that bearing or is there another bearing in the tranny that they came out of? Appreciate any info.
