A 12 volt bulb will not give you as much light as the larger 6 volt bulb does, So this is what I did when I converted a friends WD Allis to 12 volt. I bought sealed beam lights at TSC and the rubber rings for them at our local CaseIH dealer. There are three{?} tabs in them that I cut off flush .They fit over the old lights pretty snug , but I still put a small sheet metal screw in up through the bottom. It made a very good looking light that is much brighter than original,JD has the same rubber ring as IH,but thier's are about a dollar higher, it cost about $30.00 to fix a pair of lights like this.
