An excellent high clear spray can also be made utilizing the complete chassis from a older two row picker. Remove the basket, mounting framework, fans, water tank, and picking heads and you have a very good chassis to mount your tanks, booms, and other spray equipment. Old two row pickers can be found cheap and you will find them with gasoline, LPG, or diesel power. Most all will have powersteering and some will even have cabs. Plan on removing the basket, fans, and heads wherever you buy it as they are too tall to haul with the basket mounted and the heads are a lot of extra weight. These same chassis make a excellent base for other specialized farm built equipment such as; fork lift, or farm hoist by adding a A frame boom and winch. Just ideas for thought for those who like to tinker and build. Harold H
