I have had a similar with the remotes on my 1066. I was pulling a dirt bucket and would have to wait on the gate to open. It had been opening fairly quick and I could dump the dirt where I wanted without slowing down the tractor. I got to looking for some kind of speed adjustment and found that the roll pins in the shaft at the bottom of the hydraulic levers were worn out. This slack wasn't letting me get full use of my levers. I replaced the roll pins and the gate started opening fast again. This may not be your problem, but it might not hurt to look in to it.
