Bill, you know some times those old tractors got filled up with large pieces of rust....do you think you jolted some of it loose in the water jacket and pluged up a passage way?......If you decide to flush the cooling system,try this.....knock out a couple of freeze out plugs....you would be suprised of the big pieces if rust that will come out of the block.....By the way try a pair of muffins in plact of gloves....the fingers seem to keep each other warmer.....
