What is the cracked block on? I have a 44 model B Cultivision that I'm going to have to do the same thing too on the side behind the carb. and air cleaner. I have not done one before but my best thoughts would be to just take the dremel and just cut a shallow V groove along the crack and rough it up alittle on each side to get you a better bite when you overlap it some. You will probably be better making two layers of the JB but you will need to roughen up the first layer a little before the second layer to give it something to bite too. I'm probably telling you something you allready know but it never hurts to go over it just in case.
